Description of Activities
This year Udisha has planned activities in collaboration with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA). The DSLSA is reaching out to around 1000 schools in Delhi to sensitize the children against child abuse and arousing awareness about the POCSO Act. The incidents of physical, sexual and emotional child abuse are on the rise. There is need to sensitise children, students and parents about measures to prevent the child abuse. We would also like to contribute our bit in this social and legal awareness campaign.

We hereby propose to organize a conference on Protection of Child Rights and Prevention of Child Abuse in some esteemed institutions with the support of DSLSA. In this conference, the students, teachers and parents will be sensitized about child rights and measures to prevent the child abuse, including the provisions of Protection Of Children from Sexual Offenders (POCSO) Act .

Description of Activities 19 Days of Activism for the Prevention of Abuse and Violence Against Children and Youth

YONECO in 2019 intends to conduct the following activities:
(a) Radio programmes by child presenters: YONECO intends to produce and air 19 radio programmes on prevention of the child abuse and neglect. The programmes will be produced by the children themselves and aired live. The children will also engage the various stakeholders in the child protection.
(b) Social Media Campaign: Social Media Campaign will be the centre of our activities for the implementation of the process. YONECO will use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to share information and engagement with stakeholder. Special Blog will be done on the YONECO Blog Activities for the period.
(c) Theatre for Development (TFD) in selected districts: District teams will mobilise resources to manage the Theater for Development activities in the districts to allow for information flow in all the districts.
(d) Child rights clubs’ establishments and operationalization (Balaka, Ntcheu, Chikhwawa and Zomba). The child rights clubs will be formed or strengthened in the districts to under stand the rights of children and engage children to create a movement for the children on various issues their lives and rights.
(e) National Panel Discussions on Child Rights: A National Child rights advocacy forum will be organized where the children will take to task the leadership in particular the speaker of National Assembly and Minister of Gender to discuss the issues relating to the abuse and violence against children in Malawi. 30 children from each region will attend the forum with a total of 120 children engaging with the local leadership.
(f) District Child Rights Forums in Mulanje, Balaka, Mangochi and Mchinji: Each district will be tasked to mobilise the districts and resources to run the district child rights advocacy forums.
(g) Poetry on Prevention of Abuse and Violence Against Children and Youth (one poem being played in each programme): The programme will ask the artists to produce poems that will be aired on YFM children Special programme on specific themes
(h) Radio Soap Plays: The children will incorporate a 5-minute radio play on prevention of child abuse and violence. This will spice up the radio programme and the radio play crew is expected to come up with the title of the play and incorporate it in the programme

Description of Activities On the occasion of the 19th November, World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse, commemorated in synergy with the Universal Children’s Day, on the 20th of November, “The Smile of the Child” will organize a number of national activities with the goal to inform and raise awareness among students, parents, teachers and the general public on the serious issue of child abuse. This year the events will focus on the 30 year-anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, a landmark date for the protection of all children across the world.

On this occasion activities will promote the participation of children and the youth, volunteers at the European Student Volunteer Network of YouSmile with the goal to promote child participation and the voice of children by engaging decision makers and high-level public officials in Greece and beyond.

Campaign activities will include media campaigns and web-online advocacy, press announcements, participation to international public events, awareness-raising initiatives and preventative interactive sessions for school communities nationwide.

'The Smile of the Child' will engage with The Council of Europe based on its close partnership and on the occasion of the 18th of November, European Day on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse.

Foundation po DRUGIE (FpD) is main coordinator of partner's activity during 19 days of November.
Main conference, which is summarize of all activities, is placed in Warsaw, Poland.

Description of Activities FpD recruits partners to act - they are aid institutions, social reintegration services, NGOs - and guides them through the campaign process. After the campaign, FpD collects reports summarizing activities from each of the partners. FpD also organizes an event summarizing all activities - a nationwide Conference of Good Practices, to which campaign partners are invited. In addition, for persons implementing activities, mainly youth, additional activities are organized to motivate to join the campaign - e.g. a nationwide literary competition on the subject of violence.
Partners assume the role of local coordinators and have the opportunity to involve other entities in their local community. In 2018, FpD brought together 145 main partners who invited more institutions to participate - over 153 entities.
The main area of activities carried out by the partners are preventive activities that they implement together with their pupils - disadvantaged young people. Curatorial centers, schools, school teams, curatorial teams, youth educational and sociotherapeutic centers, social assistance centers, poviat family support centers, non-governmental organizations, foster care centers, private individuals, day support centers, police, city guard, the Children Ombudsman joined the campaign. In total, 298 local entities implemented and promoted activities related to the prevention of violence. The partners had freedom to choose the activity - they adapted to specific local conditions or the facilities of the facilities. Among the most common activities undertaken as part of the campaign were educational workshops for young people and parents, training for staff working with young people, talks at schools, exhibitions, openings, meetings with policemen, self-defense classes, happenings, distribution of information materials in the field of prevention and prevention of violence. Campaign partners created films, performances, debates and competitions. Due to the procedures in the institutions, reports summarizing the activities were not obtained from all partners. Partners also invited media to participate in the campaign - radio, television, websites and the press. Reports to date show that 10,324 people were directly involved in the campaign. It is estimated that with the receipt of the final reports, the total number of people involved can reach around 18,000 people.

Description of Activities We will like to use the experience gained since 2012, the year in which FICE Romania carried out the first campaign to prevent abuse and violence against children and young people, to promote the 2019 Campaign in more then 1,000 schools in all counties of Romania. In this Campaign will participate over 200,000 pupils and teenagers, more than 10,000 teachers, psychologists, police officers, social workers, journalists, physicians and, of course, parents and members of local communities.

Description of Activities The organization will engage in activities that will connect decision-makers and relevant actors with strategies that prevent and respond to violence in the lives of children and youth.
This will be achieved through workshops & public lectures.
On 1st November 2019, the organization will launch the 19 Days Campaign with a public event which will bring in activities involving public lectures, thematic songs/drama, processions, etc.
There will be a series of daily public campaigns between 2nd and 18th November 2019 that will involve children, parents, teachers, counselors, doctors, religious leaders, government officials, etc. These campaigns will be held in schools, churches, hospitals, prisons, etc.
One stakeholders’ workshop will be held to work on strategies for those with the power to act and also to understand the prevailing child abuse cases and develop approaches to prevent violence against children within Rachuonyo North Sub-County.
On 19th November 2019, the organization will mark the World Day for prevention of violence against children/youth with a public event to be graced by senior government official. Activities will take the same form as done during the launch.
